Menara Kuala Lumpur (KL Tower)

REACHING FOR THE SKY

Proudly defying gravity and standing statuesquely in all its majesty, the KL Tower has won much acclaim as South-East Asia's tallest telecommunications and multimedia broadcasting structure.  Ideally perched on Bukit Nanas (Nanas Hill) with a soaring height of 421 m, the Tower is superceded in height by only 3 other buildings around the globe (of which the tallest is located less than 30 minutes' drive away in the form of the Petronas Twin Towers!).

Fancy getting an eyeful of Kuala Lumpur with a mere glance?  All you have to do is elevate yourself to the observation deck, and hey presto! it's Kuala Lumpur, right beneath your feet!  The Tower's open to visitors from 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. daily, and an entrance fee of RM8 per adult and RM3 per child (4-12 years old) is charged.

Now solve this riddle: where can you savor a diverse variety of cuisine, and all the sights of Kuala Lumpur, whilst still rooted to the same spot?  Only at the Tower's revolving restaurant!  Needless to say, bookings are a must, due to the obvious magnetic appeal of the restaurant's location.  For more details, call 03-208 5448.
